She is Finally Here!

Soo...the last thing I blogged about was Halloween so I am more than a little behind in blogging. As horrible as it is...I am going to just skip over the holidays! *gasp!* I will never catch up if I try to go into much detail-I will just say that the holidays were great. Dustin's family came all the way up from California to our new place for Thanksgiving and it was a feast for sure! WE then went down to California for Christmas. It was my first Christmas away from home and to be honest I wasn't sure what to expect-especially since it was the first Christmas without my Dad. I just have to say how BLESSED I am to have the inlaws that I have. I love them so much and they make me feel like I have always been a part of the family. So Christmas was great and I am excited for many more holiday memories to come (ones I will blog about)! Now....What I AM going to blog about is MY NIECE IS FINALLY HERE! My sister's due date was Tues, March 3rd but the baby decided she wasn't quite ready yet. Andrea was scheduled to be induced Friday March 6th so I decided I would leave for Idaho Thursday after work so I could be there in time for all the festivities but Thursday afternoon my sister told me her water broke and she was in the hospital! Luckily I work with the best girls ever and they covered for me so I could leave early and hopefully make it home in time! Well I made it just in time and I cannot believe how beautiful she is. Isabella Kadence Wilson was born at 9:39 PM and was a whopping 8.3 lbs.-(I have to give props to my sister-apparently Bella was pretty big and she was kinda stuck there for a while but Andrea was a trooper and just kept pushing away!) It has been such a long time since there has been a baby in the family and I am so happy for my sister and her husband (Connor). You can see how much they love her and it has brought our whole family even closer together! I only wish that I was closer to home!! It is an amazing thing to hold a newborn baby...I had a hard time giving her back to her mom! I dunno...I'm starting to think that I could maybe do that some day...*sigh

Halloween post in December

I know it's December 6th and I should be posting something like us putting up our Christmas tree but Halloween pictures work too! I will probably post Christmas pictures in February...haha. Well there is not a whole lot to say. We didn't dress up or go to any parties or anything like that. We just stayed home and watched some movies on tv. It was fun though. Josh was visiting which is always exciting. Dustin let us go to a pumpkin patch even though they were double the price than the ones from Walmart! Its just so much more fun going to a pumpkin patch...don't ya think? Anyway. Here ya go!

the winner!

We are happy with our decisions

Dustin's creation-he likes scary pumpkins

The skull was mine! I was pretty proud of myself!

Josh chose to carve out scooby doo.

Bye Bye Little Brother :*(

Wow-Every now and then you have this landmark event that makes you realize how fast time is really going by and how much you want it to slow down! Well this is one of them. My brother got called to the Dominican Republic Santiago East mission and reported to the MTC a few weeks ago (Wed October 22). CRAZY!! He just left the MTC yesterday and he's really a missionary now! He arrived safely to the DR to hot and humid weather, and lots of food. I am so excited for him and I know he is going to be great but it really is weird! The experience at the MTC was...interesting. It all happens so fast and there are a few different emotions going through you but I guess overall it was good. haha. It was basically a big bawl fest with lots of hugs, kisses, and "I love you's"-(which could be expected from my family!) If anyone wants his address let me know. Good job Kris! We will be rooting for ya!!
We ate at Brick Oven before dropping Kris off at the MTC.

It was so delicious!

Getting the new nametag-Officially Elder Sommer

Bye Bye Little Brother! We will miss you soo much but are so proud and excited for you! He is going to be a great missionary.

Home, Sweeeet Home

Just like all the others, this post is a little belated-but its probably the most exciting one I will ever do (until the "guess what? I'm pregnant!" post that will come someday). Dustin and I are officially home owners! We have been so blessed and couldn't be happier! We put our condo up for sale about six months ago. Our commute to work was about 40 min each way and we couldn't handle it anymore. Also, Dustin wants to go back to school and get his MBA at BYU so we decided it was time to get down there. Well, after six months of being on the market we only had one low offer and it was on like the very first day! haha. We decided to try and rent it out and we had a renter within a week. We immediately found our perfect little dream home in Springville UT. It was a new spec home on a .4 acre lot and has all the works! We moved in two weeks ago so we are pretty much settled in so stop on by! We love visitors!!

Carrying me over the threshold...

Dustin's favorite part of the new home- 2 car garage

We love it!

Before "Someone" Kills Me....

Here's how to play:

1. Link your tagger and list rules on your blog
2. Share 7 random/weird facts about yourself
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post leaving names and links to their blogs
4. Let them know they have been tagged by commenting on their blog

1. I have really strong senses what it comes to water. All water smells and tastes different to me and I am pretty sensitive to it! Most places' water grosses me out but I am too poor to ever order a drink! You may be wondering where the best water in the world is? Back home in Rexburg in the downstairs bathroom!

2. I get bad anxiety when anything gets close to my neck. I cut the collar off all my shirts because they have to be at LEAST 3 inches below my collar bone or else I am freaking out!

3. I can't put eyeliner on my top lid without holding my eyelashes....

4. I would rather clean toilets over any other household chore. I actually find it fun!

5. I call my mom everyday...like 3 times a day

6. I can't type the word "haha" (that took a lot of effort) I always throw an extra 'h' onto the end of it. "hahah!"

7. I have a really bad habit of picking at my lip...When I am nervous or thinking or just bored I pick at it nonstop! It drives Dustin crazy andI usually make it bleed :( Oh and I stare open-mouthed all the time...its really embarassing. *hahah!

Noone ever does these things when I tag them so I think I will just go ahead and skip that step! That is very self reavealing though and is a bit therapeutic. If you think its fun go ahead and tag yourself for me!

Go Ahead, Call me Martha

So I am always really late with my blogs, but better late than never, right? So I went to this "Taste of Home-cooking school" with some of the girls from work (Linds I missed you) a while ago. I went with low expectations since I am as clueless in the kitchen as they come, but actually ended up having a LOT of FUN! They made a bunch of different dishes from almond bundt cakes to sesame beef stir fry. They gave a lot of prizes too and even though none of us won anything, it was a blast. Well most of the recipes intimidated me but I did learn one I thought I could try in my own kitchen and here it is! Basically, you put tomatoes and cheese on a slice of chicken breast, roll it up, bread it, and throw it in the oven! Even I can handle that! Usually dinner for the McIntires consist of one of five things: Quesadillas, Cereal, Grilled Cheese.....Peanut butter Sandwhiches...sad. Maybe just four things. Anyway-thought I would spice things up and it turned out great! At least I think so, I don't eat meat but Dustin said it was good! So go ahead. Call me Martha.

Andrea's Reception

Congrats to Mr and Mrs Wilson! My sister and her husband Connor got married on April 15th but just had their reception a couple of weeks ago. They were going to get married this summer but when we found out my dad wasn't going to overcome his battle with cancer, they decided to have the wedding immediately so he could be there, in person. The reception was great and my sister was beautiful! Love you guys!

precious. I think my brother felt silly though!
Sisters! Congrats Andrea!

This ice sculpture was awesome. Conner's family is Irish and this means something cool, I just can't remember what....

Love, love, LOVE my family!
